A half foot swell, now while the tide is low, is this morning's best effort. However that will change later in the morning as the tide starts to rise. Bigger swells and high wave period are forecast for the afternoon. . Meanwhile, the breeze is force 2 northeasterly offshore and promises to remain offshore for the whole day. Forecast promises the return of sunshine by midmorning.
