The Feline Weather Report

In spite of Met Office weather forecast for a fine sunny day, it looks  a little damp this morning and Mabel, below, was inaccurate yesterday so what has she to say this morning?

Mabel: That was a coughball yesterday. Not a forecast.

Rossnowlagh Surf Blogger: Cats don't get coughballs.

Mabel: Where do you think all those beaks and bones of little birdies get to? You don't think I can digest them?

RSB: So, is it going to rain?

Mabel: Stop using that R-word. Don't you know it's always sunny in Rossnowlagh?

 RSB: Really?

Mabel: Is that Tom is stalking me?

RSB: Don't change the subject.

Mabel: He must think I'm that wannabe celebrity cat that does weather forecasts. Hi handsome!

Friday, 24 August 2012

Below, fuschia with raindrops.

And continuing the feline weather forecast

Rossnowlagh Surf Blogger: Mabel, what are you at?

Mabel: Eating grass.

RSB: What about your career as a weather forecaster? I was hoping you'd have gone viral by no.

Mable: Nah, the President upstaged me. Got a million hits yesterday

RSB: So why are you eating grass? Aren't you feeling well?

Mabel: Don't you know it's a sign of rain when cats eat grass?
RSB: Oh? I thought you ate grass to make you vomit.

Mabel: Barf! Yeah, that too. You've no idea what hairball does to my digestive system.
RSB: So it's going to rain. What way is the wind?

Mabel: Can't you see - I'm facing southeast. Pay attention to my body language.

Mabel: Southeasterly cross/off with rain. Got that?

Thursday, 23 August 2012

8.15am Thursday 23 August 2012

Swell is 2 foot going on 3 with a light force 2 south southwesterly cross shore breeze.

Tides

Below, is Mabel serious about this weather forecasting? Today she says the wind is SSW and it's not going to be as wet as the forecasters say. Well, maybe. I'm still learning to read her body language. That drooping tail might mean more rain but those smiling eyes seem to say otherwise.
