Monday 23 March 6.15 am - High winds

Strong north-westerly wind bordering on gale force. {8-9 on the Beaufort scale. I've never worked out how to measure wind speeds in kilometres and don't plan to learn. The Beaufort is precise enough and allows for minor wind variations.}

Waves sloppy 3-3.5 foot; mostly white water
Low tide 9.40am 0.7m
High tide 4.08pm 2.9m
Evening low tide 9.58pm 0.5m

  2. Not sure about that being 6-7 foot .... maybe 3 - 4 foot. Ask your other daughter to check her wisdom. :)

  3. Thought it was a bit high. I've been wondering about windguru's 2-3m swells and feared I was underestimating. So I've now corrected to my own low wave size reckoning.
