This is the Mammy, a pushy stray not much bigger than the kittens.
And here below is the female kitten nestling up to the feral Tom, the putative father. (Is he Mabel's twin brother? Mabel denies all rumours that she was ever a starving stray or is remotely related to any feral Tom.)

Feral soap opera, sort of. Desperate Strays would be a good title except that tree behind is a willow, not a wisteria.
