Below, the killer whales have struck again. This harbour porpoise, lying at the high tide mark in front of the surf club this morning,  looks severely bitten. It is not the first time killer whales (The pod roams down from Western Scotland) have dropped by Rossnowlagh - they killed 2 porpoises at the Wrack Hole about 5 years ago.  You can recognise them by their very tall dorsal fins, much taller than dolphins or porpoises.

And here's what you'll see if the Scottish Orcas are visiting - they don't do much jumping, just mill about like this
