Below, the jackdaws are nest building this morning. Traditional lore says that crows start building on 1 March unless it falls on Sunday, in which case they start building on Monday. I watched for building activities yesterday but there was none. Smart jackdaws. I already knew the crow family can count to 5. Seems they also know the days of the week and are good sabbatarians with it.
