Didn't have to wait 24 hours for new storage after all. Here are this morning's pics, taken between 8.30 and 10.00 am.

Swell is now a good 1 foot with light force 2 cross shore southerly breeze.

I issued an alert some time ago that I might have to remove archived pics as picasa was warning me that my storage entitlement was used up. However it costs just 6 dollars a year for 20gb storage - 20 times more than I have used to date, so problem solved. Favourite pics will stay where they are.
