Once again, no surf. Light but chilly breeze from the north.

Below, an old post card showing how Rossnowlagh looked in the 1940s. To get your bearings, the Sandhouse and Foxhole are out of the picture, away to the far left.
The 2 semi-detached houses in the foreground are still there today. The wooden buildings, (from left to right) are the sand house shed (gone by the 1960s), the tea rooms, the bungalow and the golf club, all demolished during 1970s-80s.
