Swell is a good 2 foot with an offshore breeze down on the beach. Up here on the cliff the breeze is light force 2 southwesterly but the beach looks as if it's doing its own morning offshore, lifting the waves nicely.

Below, a busy Sunday in Rossnowlagh - in the pre-automobile era when surfers were native to Hawaii. So what made those tracks in the sand? Horse drawn traffic? Some of the buildings beyond the Sandhouse date to the 1920s or thereabouts so the photo must have been taken since then.
