17.45 Friday 14 August UPDATE




Surf has come up in spite of SW breeze and is now up to 2 foot. A bit messy but lots better than this morning's calm.

Flat ocean, small messy waves at edge of beach, light wind cross shore, southwesterly, flattening out whatever swell there might be.

Lateness of posting is due to ABB satellite shutdown yesterday and this morning. I missed putting up pic below of small but nice crisp waves yesterday afternoon that provided a lot of fun for lots of people who don't mind riding a party wave.

Calm sea with small clean 8 inch swell. No wind. Tide is low right now so it's likely swell will become bigger later in the day.
