Rossnowlagh 4.30pm - soooo late - 10 April 2009



I started the day on the east coast and it took till now to get back to Rossnowlagh. NI shopping slowed us up.

Fine swell up, choppy but good. Lots of surfers out there enjoying. Tide is rising so surf will be even better as it reaches full tide. Light onshore wind 3-4.

High tide 07.17 pm 4.1m

Rossnowlagh 7am 9 April 2009 NOTE: TOMMOROW'S REPORT WILL BE LATE, 2PM MAYBE




There is a swell, up to 2 foot in the shelter of the cliffs now at full tide but flattened out everywhere else by force 5-6 southerly wind. If the wind drops there could be good surf later.

Storm has settled: 4pm Rossnowlagh 8 April 2009


Storm has settled into a sunny surfy afternoon. Swell 3-4 foot, good surge energy.
Southerly gales tonight, maybe.

Stormy. Swell is 3-4 foot and choppy. Last night's gale has dropped to 7-8 force strong wind blowing from the north west.
